Kevin McDevitt is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he grew up the youngest of four. Kevin attended West Chester University where he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. He also played football and lacrosse and shows great passion for all sports but especially his Philadelphia Eagles! Right after college Kevin sold medical devices to hospitals for surgery and coached high school football and lacrosse in Philadelphia but was hiding a major secret from every one. He had gotten addicted to pain killers after a college sports injury his senior year. That secret sent him on a downhill spiral for the next three years, until he ended up in The Last House after a one day relapse that nearly took his life. Kevin is a graduate of our program and expressed great leadership qualities and work ethic in his year as a resident but while at the house he was challenged and really worked on his love and patience. Due to sports he has always thrived in structured environments but was not very good at slowing down and really taking the time to look inward and the house helped him do just that. Kevin is extremely grateful to be joining our team and to help inspire and motivate our residents on a daily basis as our East House Live in Manager. Kevin also works at a near by Physical Therapy clinic as a PT Aid and Personal Trainer, and enjoys playing sports (especially basketball with the guys), working out, and coaching youth sports.
