Family Healing in Recovery

Addiction not only impacts the individual struggling with their substance use but those around them as well. Spouses, friends, and family members of an individual facing addiction all also have their own struggles related to addiction. Attending a family support group can be highly beneficial for those who have a loved one struggling with addiction.

Family support groups can help individuals learn more about addiction, including the best ways to talk to an addict and how to support an individual during the recovery process. Members of the group may share their experiences in order to gain insight into the best ways to manage the negative emotions associated with a loved one’s addiction disorder.

Our Family Program

The Last House hosts live online support groups for the families or loved ones of an individual facing addiction. Meetings will occur twice per month, on the first and third Monday of the month. Our meetings are held on Zoom, meaning that you only need a computer or smartphone to be able to participate.

Ariana Gravanis LPCC leads our meetings. Ariana Gravanis is a licensed professional clinical counselor specializing in working with families and adolescents struggling with addiction. Ariana focuses on ways to build healthy relationships and boundaries within a family, to support long-term recovery.
