Addiction Treatment in Marina del Rey: Why it Matters

Substance use disorders can be a painful struggle on their own, but they’re often made even worse by the social stigma and isolation that can come with addiction. At The Last House, one of Los Angeles’s premier drug rehabilitation facilities, we aim to change that. As your top choice for a Marina del Rey drug and alcohol rehab center, we work hard to provide the proper resources for men from all walks of life to fight addiction and garner long-term success.

The Last House is made up of multiple sober living and treatment facilities. Here, we strive to offer our residents a sense of community and camaraderie as they work against substance use in the direction of sobriety and recovery. As one of the longest-running sober living programs in the area, we are prepared to provide the tools necessary to guide and uplift you to a better future. In combination with the hard work of our clients, we produce results geared toward long-term success.

More Than Just a Marina del Rey Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center

At The Last House, we offer an extensive range of treatment options, the forefront being our sober living homes. Here, residents don’t have to fight against addiction alone. Instead, they’ll work through their journey in a safe, sober community environment surrounded by people striving towards similar goals.

Our sober living homes are set to promote healthy, stable communication and relationships as well as a temptation-free structure for those working toward sobriety. Additionally, in our communities, we want residents to live in celebration of their sobriety, not doubting that their lives can be fulfilling without substances. For this reason, we provide a plethora of sober activities and experiences for our residents to enjoy. Our focus on integrity, long-term accountability, and trust helps residents develop the tools for achieving and maintaining sobriety.

Is a Marina del Rey Sober Living Home Right for Me?

Substance use disorders, especially when compounded with the stress and temptation of an unsafe living environment, typically don’t go away on their own. In fact, over time, they can grow to be much worse. If you’ve found that the environment in which you currently live doesn’t support your sobriety goals, a sober living home might be for you. At The Last House, our sober living homes are residences that intentionally and completely restrict substance use. This can be a breath of fresh air for many men – being surrounded by others who are on the same path can make recovery much more approachable. Additionally, a sober living home creates a strong sense of community that helps push clients to achieve goals they never thought possible.

Substance Abuse Treatment in Marina del Rey Tailored to Your Needs

At The Last House, we understand that everyone’s journey is different, and everyone may have different needs. We offer a great array of treatment options to best fit your needs as well as those of your loved ones. Some of the programs we offer include:

If you’re in search of clinical treatment, our Thrive Treatment Center may be the perfect fit for you. At Thrive Treatment Center, we offer evidence-based treatment, including methods such as CBT and DBT. Our Thrive Treatment Center staff holds an impressive combined 30 years of experience and is dedicated to your long-term success. Through this program, you will learn key tools and behaviors to navigate your journey to sobriety. Our treatment is a fusion of modern and traditional therapeutic practices designed to help clients get to the root of their substance use and mental health concerns.

Our Unique Philosophy on Addiction Treatment

Here at The Last House, we want our residents to know that sobriety does not have to mean boredom. We want you to enjoy and find purpose in your substance-free life. Marina del Rey is home to beautiful views of nature, striking film culture, and captivating history. The Last House is proud to facilitate a variety of events, outings, and activities for residents, such as golf trips, dances, and sober sports leagues. These activities not only help you find the fun and excitement of sober life, but they also help you foster connections with your sober peers and form lifelong relationships.

But community-building doesn’t stop there. We understand how difficult navigating substance use disorders can be for your loved ones. In response to this hardship, The Last House offers a unique, bimonthly family support group for the loved ones of our residents. This group meets twice per month via Zoom calls led by Arian Gravanis, an experienced, licensed professional, in a non-clinical, peer-to-peer environment. This group aims to help members build healthy behaviors, boundaries, and support systems for a sustainable recovery.

Finally, our team knows that the transition from sober living to daily life can be jarring, to say the least. Moving from an environment high in accountability and low in temptation to one that’s far less structured and regulated can shake one’s stability in recovery. To combat this, The Last House offers our transitional phase-out program for graduating residents. Through this program, residents are assigned a case manager to help them navigate life post-sober living home. These case managers operate on a tier-style basis. We recommend that clients start at a higher level of involvement and work their way down based on growing confidence and independence.
