Helping Families Recover for Over 10 Years
What We Do
THE LAST HOUSE® sober livings are aftercare facilities for various needs of recovery. However, we provide much more than just a place to lay your head. The Last House provides realistic structure for our clients. We are not a boot camp nor a “flophouse,” but a place where people come who have the desire to carry out real change in their lives. Whether residents come in by way of intervention, court order, or on their own accord, all of our clients receive the same opportunity to gain the tools they need to grow and rebuild lasting futures. With the willingness of a resident and support of the end goal from loved ones, we can help people assemble a life worth living, free of drugs, alcohol and with purpose.
Welcome to Recovery
The Last House Structured Sober Living for Men is on a mission to erase the stigma of addiction and help men find their path to lasting recovery. We get it. We’ve been in your shoes and are here to help guide you on your journey.
At The Last House we consider ourselves a family. Our staff is hand-picked based on their personal experiences and successes with similar structure oriented programs. Sometimes we have staff members that have graduated our program and are looking to grow and mentor peers within the community they have learned from. We all have unique skills sets that we utilize in a variety of ways whether it be home operations, resident relations, recovery community outreach, and more. We are all available to answer questions or provide resources to people, families and friends of people looking for recovery. Check out our team.
Our Success Stories
Over the last 8 years I have been beating myself up over and over again, not appreciating who I was, I was not able to see the good in myself. after being through about 35 different treatment centers, different arrests, months in jail, overdoses, hurting my family over and over again, I was given one LAST chance at the LAST house. I’m able to hold my head high, I have respect for myself and for others around me. And for the first time i have made it to a year sober. I’ve been given the tools to live a beautiful life, and I know for sure I couldn’t have done it without the house. Best experience of my life. Thank you for my life, last house.
Before arriving at The Last House I had no plans of getting sober. I arrived needing help that i could not see or feel. The only choice i made willingly was to simply to have an open mind. The structure the house and the feedback given daily was able to let me to begin to see what the world saw. I simply had an open mind to what others had to say about me and my actions. This house combined with daily AA meetings and working with a Sponsor to complete the 12 Steps of AA changed how I thought and helped me realize who i was. That did not match who I wanted to be. I love what The Last House did for me. I am happy today not planning my day around drinking and using. I have the tools and peace to find joy in all situations each day building my life. The Last House saved my life. It’s beautiful coming back around each Friday and seeing progress made with all the guys. Management cares more than they can show. Only after completing the program can i look back and understand how much care is taken for each individual. I love being apart of The Last House Family.
Our son was basically stranded in LA, we don’t live in the area, and I was calling places trying to get him help. I called this place. MATT FIDLOW, who answered the phone, did something so kind for people he’s never even met. He drove 40 minutes in LA traffic, on a Saturday, to the location where my son was and ended up driving him to a facility that he needed to be in, as he needed a higher level of care. Who does that? Especially in LA! Well Matt did. And if he is a staff member at this facility then I can only imagine the rest are just as concerned and willing to help. When my son is able to go to a sober living he will be going here. What a great testament to human kindness Matt is. It was a blessing to our family to know our son is safe and getting the help he needs. Thank you, Matt!
